About the Role

ReachX is partnering with a UK and US-based AI-focused Venture Capital firm that is entering its next phase of growth. Our client invests in high-potential AI and fintech companies and is now seeking an experienced Fundraising Advisor to support capital raising efforts for the fund.

This is a contract engagement for a senior professional with a proven track record of successfully securing commitments for venture capital funds, particularly within AI, fintech, or deep-tech sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and advise on fundraising strategy for the VC fund

• Leverage existing LP and institutional investor relationships across the US market

• Source and engage prospective Limited Partners (LPs), family offices, institutional investors, and strategic investors

• Support investor materials, positioning, and messaging

• Drive investor conversations from introduction through to close

• Advise on fund structuring insights aligned with US investor expectations

• Work closely with the General Partners and leadership team

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Demonstrable track record of raising capital for VC funds (not just startups)

• Strong, active network of US-based LPs, family offices, and institutional allocators

• Experience within AI, fintech, or emerging technology investment ecosystems

• Deep understanding of venture capital fund structures and LP expectations

• Commercially driven, strategic, and well-connected

• Comfortable operating independently in a remote engagement

• Compensation: Competitive day rate plus performance-based success fee
